Happy Mother’s Day weekend from this mother, daughter, and grandmother – all big fans (and regular users) of RemeVerse products.
We thought it would be fun as we head into Mother’s Day weekend to talk skincare with my mom and daughter. Each of us is sharing our favorite RemeVerse products….and maybe a few secrets! With one of us in our mid-70s, one mid-50s, and one mid-20s, we all have different concerns. But one thing we share (ok, maybe one of the things) is that we love healthy, happy, radiant skin!
Here’s the breakdown with product links:
Elizabeth (aka Gramma) – I like a lot of RemeVerse products and use them regularly. I was really excited to try the new Replenishing Hair Products. They are great. I especially like the Replenishing Shampoo, as it’s added noticeable body and volume to my fine hair!
As far as skincare, I’m still enjoying incorporating the Hyaluronic Acid Serum into my routine to give my skin even more hydration. After washing my face, I apply the serum, followed by Advanced Hydrating Crème. Next, I apply the foundation. Adding the serum really helps my foundation spread more evenly. I use less makeup, too, which is nice! My skin has a natural, healthy glow.
Note: Foundation and concealers can settle into fine lines and wrinkles making them more prominent. Try Elizabeth’s trick of using less by applying it to well-moisturized skin!
Gillian (aka “G”) – I’ve used the Foaming Cleanser and Day Hydrating Crème for several years now and love it. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I have to be careful with products and ingredients. I actually look forward to washing my face at the end of the day! The cleanser takes off all my makeup and helps my skin feel so clean. I always immediately follow cleansing with Day Crème, which is lightweight and doesn’t break me out because it’s fragrance-free and oil-free. I know it’s hard for someone younger to use moisturizer but it’s so important to start early!
Note: If Gillian is having a breakout situation, she incorporates So Clear into her routine. She especially loves Repair for applying at night on trouble spots. But she’ll tell you, she never skips the Day Crème on the rest of her face!
Hallye (aka Mom) - Most of you know I try everything and use our products every day. The two things I absolutely couldn’t live without are Fresh Face Makeup Remover and Daily Balance Glycolic Cleanser. Here’s my nightly routine: First, I use Fresh Face on my eye makeup, because it literally melts it away, so there’s no rubbing or tugging on my “older” under-eye skin. I follow this with the Daily Balance Glycolic Cleanser and then slather on Advanced Hydrating Crème, including around my eyes. I love this stuff as I’ve gotten older! It’s such a treat and soooo hydrating without feeling heavy.
During the day, I like to lighten things up. If I’m wearing makeup, I use my trick of mixing a drop of foundation and a little Day Hydrating Crème in my palm before applying it to my face. This gives me the dewy, barely their coverage that I like.
Note: For those with normal skin, we recommend using Day Hydrating and Night Nourishing Crèmes twice daily. If your skin is dry or you are over 40, we recommend you try Advanced Hydrating Crème instead. Remember, you can swap out these products to customize your perfect system here.
